In this report (link), The Commonwealth Fund revealed that within a 12-month period,
34% of adults aged 19-64, because of cost, did not:
- visit doctor or clinic,
- fill a prescription,
- skipped recommended test, treatment, or follow-up, or
- did not get needed specialist care
